A: Distributors should use advisory boards to help them increase the value of their business.  This happens by using the advisors background, knowledge and skill sets to profitably grow their company.  This occurs by providing the advisory board with complete information on the company including strategic plans, marketing initiatives, organizational issues, financial data, and other information for  on-going review and comment.  Most importantly, a distributor benefits most from asking a lot of questions which will help make critical decisions.
