Q: If I can find qualified advisors, how can I make sure they will not also advise my competitors?
A: The Distributor Board policy is to provide an advisory board to only one type of distributor in a metropolitan area. If ABC Company, for example, is a fastener distributor in the Chicago metro area, The Distributor Board will not work with any other fastener distributor in Chicago. However, it will work with a fastener distributor in, say, Cleveland. This both avoids conflict in a geographic market and provides cross fertilization benefits to each company. If a company works in multiple metropolitan areas The Distributor Board will not work for another company in any of those areas.
